Kudos to the project, but my hand is not up. I'm having such an agony with writing currently that I'm trying to finish some stuff for Drollerie and I have some fics that I'm going to cry if I don't finish. But I'm sure it will be a good read!
The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
I'm not sure how I can help with the project, but I would like to.
After that, there would be a lot of details to hammer out, especially since I know nothing about Lulu. But those are the first steps.
I did a second printing of the Buffistas cookbook on Lulu (because someone was looking for a copy and because I couldn't bear the font problem with the first one any longer). It came out great, and I'm happy to help navigate that part of the process if needed.
::hands in new places:: Not sure exactly how yet, but I'd like to participate in the project.
Thanks for the input on my chapter 1 remix. I might use some lines from the experimental version, but I'm still going to start in the same place as I did originally.
Now to extract my newly removed character and spackle up the holes that leaves.
Now for my experiment with chapter 3. A section with a different POV since the character that knows the significance of something is not currently the POV character and would in no way tell the POV character. I think it might work better even though I like to stay primarily with the main character. That's like 7 POVs, main character, new dude, henchman, bad dude, that other guy, another dude, and a another woman, yep 7 distributed throughout. Probably 80-90% is in the main character's POV still.
The dude playin' the dude disguised as another dude?
Clearly
I don't know why I didn't say Aimee, Martin, Rainier, Curtis, Asan'Gareth, Holly, and Avar. I feel oddly reluctant to use names.
::gestures vaguely::
Interested, but reluctant to commit.
Sigh. Way to reinforce the stereotype, dcp.
Hand!
May I do the cover art?
