Choose a theme and a reasonable Buffista due date (2015 maybe), send out a call for contributors with a due date to enter so we know how many to expect and what, collect the stories, edit, proof, bag head against wall, debate title and cover art, layout, send to lulu print-on-demand, pat ourselves on the back and lament the horrible bloodshed that no doubt will occur.
The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
Poetry is an excellent idea, Liese. I always forget poetry because ... well, I haven't written poetry for years, and I don't read a lot of it anymore. But I think poetry would be a fabulous addition.
Here's what I think needs to happen first:
1) We need to pick a theme.
2) We need to set a word limit, especially for fiction.
3) We need a deadline for entries to be submitted.
After that, there would be a lot of details to hammer out, especially since I know nothing about Lulu. But those are the first steps.
Also, a comm on LJ might be helpful, and editing could probably take place in Google docs.
Or, what Allyson said!

I thought of Victor and Thessaly too, Liese, because I love poetry.
What about Deena? I know she's done some publishing, not sure if she writes too, but hey, we could use her expertise.
Also I like the idea of having a theme and including a variety of genres.

Deena absolutely writes, as well.
Deena absolutely writes, as well.
Great
Can anyone participate even if you don't write a lot? When I was cleaning off my old computer and I found some poetry and a bit of fiction I started and it's made me want to write again. I'd love to participate in this if it's possible.
What about a theme like "Vampires, Zombies and Things That Go Bump in the Night"?
I like the darkness theme kinda a lot. There's enough space there that we could go our separate Buffista directions without it getting too crowded in the middle.
eta: Oops! Not meaning to contradict, Ginger! I had the edit window open and was mulling.
