Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Cutiehead Noah!! So ded from the adorableness.

Oops, sorry, that's Pete's word, isn't it?

I'm sorting all my free crap! Yay!

I hope you got lots of goodies, Allyson! Isn't BEA fun? Did you meet any famous authors and/or other people?

Now that I'm working at a bookstore again, I'll have to check it out when it's back in Chicago, which isn't for several years if their website is correct. Damnit.

I love that we have multiple sets of pics of Noah at the Huntington Gardens. sara, he was such a wee snuggly lump back in November, but we thought he was huge! And the hair!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Huh. It's 65 at nearly 9 AM. I suppose I could get dressed and go eat breakfast on the patio -- dressed so the neighbors don't complain about me in my pajamas, anyway.

Librarian Warlord

On my way to the office the radio was telling me it's 74 degrees here. It's now 9 a.m., and the students who are actually supposed to open the library have not arrived, yet. I'm not sure I feel like yelling at them because the last thing I did last night before going home was setting someone straight.

Also, NPR had a story this morning on a capella groups that I really enjoyed. I used to love the days when they'd be out on Sproul Plaza at Berkeley.

Bad Wolf

Just woke up, seems like it is pretty awesome outside. Almost feel motivated enough to go to the Farmer's Market.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Am in my pajamas, waiting for the shower. Later we head to the Washington Folk Fest. Hope it doesn't rain too much. Tomorrow is for stuff around the house. (Like vacuuming the tumbleweeds of cat fur off the floor)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

whoa, did not expect to see natter when I got up.

phooey to a very bad night's sleep. Isaac woke up around 4 and then woke me up by calling repeatedly for his dad. So then after getting him to the potty and tucking him into bed his sister sat up and needed to go the potty, so I took her too. And then after tucking them into bed again I was completely unable to fall back asleep. Completely unable. Been awake since 4 am. I am so rotten tired. I wish I was able to fall asleep better.
