For the record, the craving's been supplanted by one for tender beef--either a thick soft steak or a tender slice of roast--served with rice, oddly white rice, tight, white, polished rice with a dab of butter on top. There's pâté on the steak, if it's steak, as well as bacon. Asparagus on the side. Cabernet to drink.
Not sure where that came from. I'm really distracted by the rice.
I've been putting tags into all my old LJ entries. I am such a dork. Also? Talk WAY too much about the kids, and sadly seem to have not much else to say.
I highly recommend it, Kristin. It's just a few L stops north of me. Kinda crummy neighborhood, but fantastic food.
We are just limping towards the finish line, aren't we? I totally thought there'd be a new thread before I went to bed, now I'm pretty sure there won't be.
oh good, but bed is still calling me
Helping to the finish. Lalalalallalala.
I went dancing. I can hardly see the screen cause i am drunkies. or tipys. I only had 2 and 2/3 beers. maybe it's the medicine. or the lack of dinner. though the meidcine is what made me not want dinner, right? So it's the medicine. I had an odwalla bar for dinner. superfood. it had NUTRIENTS>
I did not drive home, fear not, people of seattle. I got a ride home with af riend.
Cutiehead Noah!! So ded from the adorableness.
Oops, sorry, that's Pete's word, isn't it?
I'm sorting all my free crap! Yay!
I hope you got lots of goodies, Allyson! Isn't BEA fun? Did you meet any famous authors and/or other people?
Now that I'm working at a bookstore again, I'll have to check it out when it's back in Chicago, which isn't for several years if their website is correct. Damnit.
I love that we have multiple sets of pics of Noah at the Huntington Gardens. sara, he was such a wee snuggly lump back in November, but we thought he was huge! And the hair!
Huh. It's 65 at nearly 9 AM. I suppose I could get dressed and go eat breakfast on the patio -- dressed so the neighbors don't complain about me in my pajamas, anyway.
