If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

The world's going to hell. Here are some bunny photos.

LOVE.

It's no "Fuck everything here's some zebra footage," but it'll do.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Oh dear - the level of stupid has reached critical mass:

I dislike Rachel Ray, but really, a scarf???

Things are starting to feel kind of rather Joe McCarthy-ish.

In bunny-related diversions, I prefer Disapproving Rabbits.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm a little confused by the "si" here. Is it preceded by a negative question such as You didn't seduce Cinna, did you ?, in which case, this would mean, "Yes, I seduced Cinna, and I will seduce many others." Otherwise, if "si" is supposed to mean if, this is formulated incorrectly.

The book doesn't provide full context for the quote, but I think it's the former. I'm reading a biography of Napoleon, and the passage reads:

there was the famous occasion when he collapsed senseless from excess in bed with Mademoiselle George, the celebrated actress (who, prefatory to their liaison, had provoked an explosion of applause in the theatre by reciting, just as Napoleon entered his box, the line, 'Si j'ai seduit Cinna...")

Don't worry about the requests. Translation is good practice for me. As those who know me well can attest, I will have no problem telling you when I don't want to do it anymore.

Thanks!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

humiliating and daft.

I really kind of like that phrase.

The scarf thing just boggles. I bet Tim Horton's wouldn't have backed down!!!

See, and if they'd said "We pulled the ad because too many of our customers were frothing at the mouth and then collapsing in a RR-hatred-induced rage," I'd be totally understanding.

I'm pretty fond of Pete Wentz's response to the scarf thing: [link]

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thanks for the advice, Kathy. I'm meeting up with my publicist in the morning, and visiting their booth thingy, and then I'm off to walk around and grab stuff, then sitting through the awards thingy.
