I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My favorite thing so far about Visio, is that when faced with the opportunity to just have a straight line connect two boxes, it will instead draw a connector that wraps almost completely around at least one box. weird little thing.

Anyhoo - this project is 90% done.

Oh that is probably my least favorite thing about it! Just draw a straight freakin' line!

I'm way too excited/nervous about going on vacation tomorrow. And I feel like i have no appropriate clothing or shoes to bring!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, this PZ post is funny....

I'm not the only weirdo on my block

In case you too have an obsessive fascination with our home on the prairie, Morris, Minnesota, there is another blog based in my neighborhood, and the latest talk is about all the construction going on. College Avenue, the street running in front of my house, is being ripped up and reconstructed, a process that's supposed to go on for a few months. Anyway, there's a strange fabric fence that's been put up between us and the university, which the precocious young man living near us has decided is a Physicist Fence, to protect us from wandering physicists, presumably drawn by the sound of heavy machinery.

If it really is a physicist fence, though, I'm tempted to go out and cut a couple of slits in it, just to see what would happen.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks Nora, I must try it out.

tommyrot, my mom was from Morris, Minn, but I'm sure the town is nothing like I remember it.

I was being sarcastic about the crazy line drawing in Visio.

trembles in fear

So side effect of new furniture? I hate my old-good-enough furniture. Maybe I should get a new coffee table that'd match or at least compliment. And really, the paperbox has got to go. I could use a small end table instead of that footstool. And the bedraggled Adams poster? Really.

Sigh. And I haven't even gotten the old mattress out of the house yet.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I got the Something I ordered from the Something Store! It's a

booklet of Einstein postit notes-- one side has largish ones with a picture of Einstein on them, the other has other postit notes in different colors and sizes.

I don't think I would have paid $10 for it in another setting, but it's cute.

It's true!

Oh, lord, I know how this is. Try getting two whole new rooms. Poor, sad Rest of the House.
