You should wait and see Indy with me, Consuela!

Sorry, Perkins & P-C! I went to the show at the Grand Lake this afternoon! But first I had Arizmendi pizza, NOM NOM NOM.

It was fun!

So, I'm just watching the finale of GA. Oh my. I loved Cristina's storyline and George's. I think they both are a way of recapturing them and getting them back on track after a year of menh. I also have to say I find Meredith's therapy is a storyline that I find more compelling than her and Derek. I have always found what was going on between Meredith and her mother really interesting and really moving. So watching her work through those issues to understand her Derek stuff works for me.

Haven't gotten to the end yet, but I can predict that I'm going to be @@ over Callie cause I see where that is coming. Not sure what to think about Karev's story line but I am over Izzy. But I've been over her since before Denny.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really liked the GA finale. It does put people either back where they should be or into new interesting places, I think. Although, mother issues much?

We have an operational stoop

Very nice!

One of the blogs I read was just suggesting that they should have kept the character as Michael and set it up as a Fresh Prince scenario.

Hilarious. Instead, it's just more like the OC than ever.

And I thought Pres did a fine job stepping up, considering it was like "Hi, you're the lead now," and with that choirboy face, he could only be the anti-McNutty.

Yeah, what happened to him?

Please to note, I am just in the middle of the 4th season, so no spoilers, please.

Well, yeah this show is all about mother issues. Oh! Izzy got the clinic! Which seems appropriate since her money, technically, built it. And she does seem better suited to that than to surgery.

I am praying that they can keep their groove on next year.

Also, FTR, I think Wipeout looks hilarious!

Another GA note. Lexie and George actually works for me. She has the same wounded puppy thing that he has. And, fine, Karev just broke me. But honestly, the pity fuck from Izzy is NOT the way to go! My sense is also that we are getting Bailey back. Thank god. The building a house thing is kinda cool.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I agree, Kat. The Karev/Izzy stuff was a definite weak spot, but I liked the rest of the finale. I am glad that the rest of them are back in better spots.

Perkins, me too! I so often find Izzy to be the weakest spot of this show. But I feel reassured that maybe next year won't suck.

Lord, that's a pretty stoop.

I want to remark on the visit to the futon place today. They are SO MY PEOPLE. Husband and wife setup, kinda crunchy. Wife is due in 13 days, you could see her tummy ripple. They were all chatty about how this was her third, first two from another marriage, 14 and 18. And interrupting phone calls with the drama-teens. And the part-timer was an office manager for a ped, gorgeous black woman with blue hair and the best jewelry ever. We exchanged jewelry sources. I have to say, they aren't purely polished professional (see angry teen phone calls and pregnant lady interrupting to sit down for braxton-hicks midquote) but that's my kind of sales shop. LOW PRESSURE, lots of facts.

I probably spent more time talking to them about stuff unrelated to me spending $$$ than not.

Honestly, I'll probably go back to them for a custom cover, just for that. I didn't today because I'd made enough choices and was at the end of my rope. And I have no fucking clue what kind of upholstery I want.
