And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

somehow, I'm doubting that.

I have to get the pics off the camera and upload them. Noah tried his hand at self feeding sweet potatoes and quinoa.

It was early July in southern NM. Not quite storm season.

I really wish I could get the flickr vids to work. I've missed mac and Noah & Grace stuff because my computers are archaic. (Finally saw poofyheaded mac tonight. AWESOME!)

So...was Noah enthusiastic? And still see you in Nov? (Fuck launch making my life insane. [Lauch is now officially Oct 8. Which means I have t0o care about a month to 6 weeks later] That's MY week.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why does my cat have dandruff?

Of course! We even have a guest bed in Noah's room. We won't leave Noah in there with you. Necessarily.

Was he enthusiastic? Not really. We had some food about an hour before. The OT chided us and said we needed a sippy cup with a straw (because the other sippy cups encourage a bad tongue thrust and a kid with an ET high palate will have enough problem with talking like bugs bunny) and he needed to self feed.

The problem with self-feeding is that it's horribly inefficient. It takes so LONG. And it will work better when he hasn't already had a lot of broccoli cheddar soup and a jar of pears and raspberries.

Bad Wolf

I wish it was storming here. That would be exciting, about the only excitement in my life right now is watching a British Spy Drama.

Our wings are not tired.

We had thunderstorms earlier. It was a beautiful thing. They drenched our fires too, which should help the morning air.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Food storage question: I know you're not supposed to refreeze stuff without cooking it in between. But what about bread? I took a loaf of bread (fresh bread that I baked and then froze) out of the freezer, but now I realize that I'm probably not going to eat it before I go away for a few days. Safe to put it back in the freezer? I'm pretty sure the "don't refreeze" thing is because it's giving the bacteria way more time to grow, and I don't think that bacteria is that much of a problem with a loaf of bread. Right?

Why does my cat have dandruff?

The same reason MK does. I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA. And given his diabetes, I'll just deal without screwing with anything. I've heard oils (fish oil etc) ingested help.

Feeding is rarely efficient. Said as someone often bored with eating lately. I'm trying to maximize protein because it is too easy to get bored/filled long before I've eaten enough (it's really weird.) May I suggest nekkid and a dropcloth? (Um, for wee ones. Wouldn't help my issues. For the record.)

It the high palate & tongue thrust rather early remnants or just him? ( you can ignore this, I'm just being too curious because all sorts of woe, language and teeth and eating, were predicted due to my thumbsucking. Until 9.)

Hey, I volunteered before. I will again, especially since he sleeps more now! And goodness knows by now, I sleep hard. Unless I shouldn't. Or can't.
