Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

yeah, I just paid over $800 for data recovery. I want a non-HD back-up.

My iTunes library fits comfortably on an 8GB iPod Touch

I would die. I say that melodramatically, with a little first world swoon thrown in just for kicks.

I think ND now has more music than will fit on a 160GB iPod.

I would've been so disappointed if he didn't. My world would have been askew.

I had to pick and choose which songs would go on the iPhone. Now the 16GB is out, and would be fine. But, I do not have it. My dad is making noises about getting an iPhone. I'm thinking about telling him that I'll pay the extra $100 if he gets a 16GB, and give him my 8GB, all set up.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, with a HD backup, you just have to make sure your back-up HD is working. If it dies, you gotta run out and buy another one right away. So there's a gamble that you might have to spend $ in the future for a new drive, plus the slight risk of your iTunes library dying on your machine before you can replace the back-up HD. OTOH I've had old backup CDs of music become unreadable....

The ideal solution? Two back-up HDs. Or, you know, a disk array of some sort.

I think as people rely more and more on iTunes (or similar) for their music, and as HD prices continue to fall, you'll see more and more people having multiple HDs for backup.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

I've heard that the next iteration of the iPhone is due soon, probably at the next WWDC in June, so it may be worth the while to at least wait until then. Otherwise you may get jammed up with another $200 reduction in price...

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Oh wait, I have a 16GB Touch, not an 8GB. But still, half the capacity of my old 30GB iPod Classic and I'm not hurting for space.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This is why I'm scared to get rid of the CDs I really like!

I'm still happy I got rid of original CDs. I can get a lot more songs on each CD by burning them as MP3s, plus I have very few in-tact albums on my iTunes anymore, there usually at least 1-2 songs I dislike on an album.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

This is why I'm scared to get rid of the CDs I really like!

When we were moving to Michigan, I began packing our CDs.

Aimee said "No, we'll sell them. They're all on the Batcomputer anyway!"

And I said "What if the Batcomputer crashes?"

And Aimee said "You need a bigger box."

So I go to bed early for me. And then wake up late. And get stuck behind a cement truck going a whopping 15 mph. And then there is some sort of meeting no one told us about so the parking lot was full by 9:30. And there are delivery trucks blocking the turnaround where we pull in to get overflow parking passes and stupid people blocking the road. I have to park in East Siberia and suddenly oversleeping by 30 minutes makes me an hour late.
