No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Huh. Is this true? Could the greenback be doomed? [link]

Now tagless for your comfort.

Next time we go to Vegas, I want to try the Wynn.

billytea, we can only hope! I want pretty money.

Sounds like we're all on the "plan at the last minute" bandwagon, Kat. Works for me. :)

It's sad that my thought was, "There's an API for schools? You can program them??? DAMN! Wish I'd known that!"

BWAH. (yes. late. We were at dinner with my past: my first boyfriend ever, his wife, and their three kids.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If you can swing it, though, stay at Wynn.

The Wynn is very posh and gorgeous.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

God damn it, the Mets suck. But they don't suck as bad as the Yankees, so at least that's something.

My mother was told by our family dentist that I needed braces (long about when I was 9 or 10.) She scoffed at that. I've never had braces and every dentist I've seen since is surprised to learn that. Now the condition of those nicely straight teeth is another story entirely...

Which is to say, yep, wrong day for it (and one of the many reasons I hate going to the dentists and drs. They have an uncanny knack of picking the one thing to discuss that I don't need to discuss at the moment,) and you know what? You've got a great smile.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

God damn it, the Mets suck. But they don't suck as bad as the Yankees, so at least that's something.

I got in the car this afternoon, flipped from NPR to the M's game, and the first thing I heard was, "And now the Detroit Tigers have batted around, and seven runs are in this inning."

I switched straight back to NPR.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Kat! Aims! Other Vegas people! Other than the Mandalay Bay (which is sold out), where are the good places to stay?

If you have a high tolerance for gaudiness, the Luxor could be a cool place to stay. It has a great spa and some pretty impressive restaurants. You just have to enjoy the prospect of staying in a hotel that looks like a goa'uld temple.

My boss really enjoyed staying at the Venetian. Just don't stay at Circus Circus.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I would love to try the Wynn, but I am not sure it's in the budget.

Unless I throw in my stimulas check...
