I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Ego Boost is always still good.

It's 86 degrees in my office right now. If it were January, I'd be jumping for joy. But right now, I could use a popsicle.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Though I'm still hurt that everyone missed the Isabella Rossellini insect sex stuff. It was very educational.

I watched the earthworm one. At that moment I didn't have time to watch any more.

I really don't like going into a confined space when there's no guarantee that I'll be able to get back out.

I feel that way about elevators. I tend to only use them when moving heavy stuff or in really tall buildings.

I'm jealous of the west coast heat. I would like to be warm.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I will not be calling anyone out for their lack of rightness, which is probably the right thing to do. But I did get a chance to sit down and discuss the wrongness with my boss--even though it probably won't make me any more employed September 1st, it still made me feel less lame.

Okay, back to diving into data reconciliation.

This is cute (if you ignore the creepy, leering panda).

Yay, wheat!

We finally had some sun, and I went out in the garden and I dug up the biggest earthworm I have ever seen. It was at least twice as thick as the next largest worm. Boy, was I glad to be wearing thick gardening gloves.

I'm currently trying to figure out if Johnny Depp was actually at the concert I went to last night.
