ewewew!! my sister just found a tick on her. this makes the fourth tick we've found either on ourselves or on our animals in the past two weeks or so. i guess we're going to have to spray something in the yard because they seem to love it. anybody have any recommendations?

Yikes! Ticks. I've got nothing on how to untick a yard.

We have a ton of bugs that linger in our doorway. I know it's not very buddhist or tantric of me, but I think I'm getting a bug zapper to hang at the front of the porch. I think the bug zapper is more like my inner catholic.

I have a kosher-glatt (whatever that means) subway within a mile of me.

Yay mobile Noah! My brother called again tonight. Part of what I love of his calls (in addition to the debates and imparting of knowledge) it the background noise of his kids, my nephews. The discovery of a slug, the dares to eat (eww!) the slug (my eldest nephew is sane, thank goodness,) baby T's attempts to escape the house, all the 5 year old's observations on reality and T's basic ...grunts and squeals, really.

I really hope he finds a post doc near me.

oh crap.... ita, scratch the bars for you. I just remember I used splenda in lieu of straight sugar. I'm a dessert tease. I apologize.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No worries, Kat. Hopefully I can get back on wheat tomorrow anyway. I don't think it's been much of a factor.

Kosher glatt from kashrut.com--a fascinating read. Now I'm going through the humour section, and it's rapidly become a weird read.

Yes indeed. Great, I figured you already were using them, but I thought I'd speak up just in case.
