Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

hey BT! I am going to see an fine antipodean group tonight--Crowded House. I know they are NZ and not Aussie, but still from that neck of the woods.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Good stuff! Actually, while Neil Finn is a Kiwi (and Tim Finn when he was in the band), the other two musicians in the original line-up (Nick Seymour and Paul Hester) are Australian (were in Hester's case, he killed himself in 2005). I think the new line-up has a couple of Americans in it too.

This may just be the best thing I've ever seen. Drag Queen Affirmations. The write up about the service is in the first link. To check out their actual site, follow this link, but beware! The second link has audio. A drag queen singing (loudly and off key), "You are so wonderful! You are so wonderful!"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Dagnabbit. I just remembered I forgot to get either bacon or bananas at the grocery store! I guess it's pb&b after all...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm making vegan Spanish omelette for dinner (potatoes and onions in a tofu/saffron/garlic custard -- REALLY good), but it just overflowed a bit while cooking, so now I'm going to have to clean my oven. Ick. (I'm fine with most cleaning chores. I just really hate scrubbing, especially at awkward angles like in an oven.)

wow this is amazing... I just read this book called "will the vampire people please leave the lobby" and it talked all about buffistas, and fandome, and Im think it was by somebody on here named Alkyson, but this is so amazing, I love buffy and the book "will the vampire people please leave the lobby"was great, and now i can actually talk to the people from the book, (that probably didn't make to much sence?) It's like if... u read harry potter and than afterwards went to hogwarts...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We have no sorting hat here, Katrina, so be warned. We also don't (honest!) have a Voldemort, so it might average out.

Anyway--welcome. Click on links! Read up. Hopefully you'll find it comfy. Don't hesitate to ask for directions, if you need them.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think we kicked He Who Shall Not Be Named out in '03 or thereabouts.
