Given that it's been done on animals, how come it hasn't been done on people? We're ill enough that I'm positive you could find volunteer test subjects among the sane.
The results would be a person who's quadriplegic. But I've read people discussing a theoretical case of a person who's already quadriplegic and who's body is dying having their head transplanted to a healthy but brain dead body. I don't think anyone's seriously considered this, but who knows what the future holds....
Megan, that is a lovely story. Sometimes "right person, wrong time" works out. What was Miss A doing in the meanwhile? I hope she wasn't single.
My Dad was her third husband. We were a bit worried since this came out of nowhere (my Dad had been a widow for 7-8 years) and her first husband and a few of her kids had died. But she is really a lovely, caring woman. I was very happy she was around to take of my Dad the last couple of years of his life.

I really enjoyed DaVinci Code, but GWtW was a horrible experience. I've not seen either movie.
