Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That dog in snow sure looks happy. Gave me some time to think about head transplant surgery, though. Given that it's been done on animals, how come it hasn't been done on people? We're ill enough that I'm positive you could find volunteer test subjects among the sane.

Megan, that is a lovely story. Sometimes "right person, wrong time" works out. What was Miss A doing in the meanwhile? I hope she wasn't single.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm silly. I just re-organized my cash drawer so that every guest has a chance of getting a new $5 bill.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The results would be a person who's quadriplegic. But I've read people discussing a theoretical case of a person who's already quadriplegic and who's body is dying having their head transplanted to a healthy but brain dead body. I don't think anyone's seriously considered this, but who knows what the future holds....

My Dad was her third husband. We were a bit worried since this came out of nowhere (my Dad had been a widow for 7-8 years) and her first husband and a few of her kids had died. But she is really a lovely, caring woman. I was very happy she was around to take of my Dad the last couple of years of his life.

5. The Stand

Is it actually "America's Favorite Book that Hardly Anyone Ever Reads"?

eta: Despite being far more religious than European countries, Americans tend to know far less about their religions than religious Europeans.

Weird, huh?

Our wings are not tired.

People who don't read much and could only remember those titles.

I really enjoyed DaVinci Code, but GWtW was a horrible experience. I've not seen either movie.
