Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm still not convinced. With this origin story, wouldn't you just become a vibrator fetishist? It just doesn't seem confined to boats. It could be a wind-up duck, but I don't see toy duck fetishists!

My other issue is that on the map the toy boats were near the latex and rubber stuff.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oscar Pistorius, the double-amputee sprinter who was barred from able-bodied competition in January, will be allowed to pursue his dream of qualifying for the Olympic Games after an unexpected decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

I think the decisions/reactions to this have been really interesting in where people think the lines should be drawn.

Cashmere, that is totally irritating!

Saturday we are cleaning the garage since neighborkitty has been stealing more than socks and underwear out of there. Then we are going to the strawberry festival in Oxnard.

Sunday I am taking Noah to the Little Tokyo Funfest with Lori and then we are going to Milk and Bookies at Storyopolis.

Sox, I'm writing up a Vegas + Baby article for you. It may take a while.

The status is NOT quo.

Weekend:

Tonight, go to CalArt's graduation with ND. (He teaches there part time.) Apparently these graduations are...unique. Pink bunny suits and rappelling down the sides of buildings unique.

This weekend...no plans whatsoever. Kind of cool, actually.

Aha! This is from a 2001 Vanity Fair article about furries. Katharine Gates made the map.

Gates's book features chapters on fat admiration, pony play, balloon fetishists, and, on the dark side, the crush freaks. Her Web site, deviantdesires.com, has a forum in which different fetishists can talk to one another -- the women who masturbate with bathtub toy boats can talk to the plushies, and so on.

Tonight I'm going to do laundry, watch Galactica, and clean frantically. Tomorrow I'm going to buy booze, clean frantically, & then have people over for a soiree. Sunday I think I'll sleep.
