Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

I think for the early deposits, it depends on when you filed (i.e., people that filed close to the April deadline may have to wait a bit for things to be processed).

As I'm in the last batch (and I filed in February!) and not scheduled to receive anything until July, I'm afraid I have little sympathy...

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Fist shaking as well!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm with you. Also, I'm not planning anything around the money, so when it comes, it'll be like a bonus.

Well, I've been a bit overbudget and not saving enough towards my October vacation in Utah, so it will probably go towards making sure I have enough for that (the goal being to pay cash for everything). The fact that I'm getting it later just makes it enforced savings I guess.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I just yesterday got something in the mail saying I should expect it May 16.

I got that letter too, but I'm expecting mine via snail-mail. Any chance they've lost your direct deposit info?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I should have gotten mine last week, too. (Another SSN-ending-with-71 here.) I did have to pay this year, but I filed back in the beginning of February and paid with direct withdrawal, so I thought I'd be getting a direct-deposit check early.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I also got nothing.

YAY Aims! In your face, DouchNozzle!

I think I need to order that something Brenda linked to earlier. It's just that kind of day.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does anyone have a link to the stimulus check schedule handy?
