I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

If I think American Gladiators is the funniest thing ever, does that make me kind of dumb?

No, it just means that you've never seen America's Next Top Model.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is oddly disturbing, in an odd, disturbing way: Manbabies.com

A bunch of photos of dads with their kids, where the heads have been switched....

(here instead of Music, so ita can see it) Awesome Gnarls Barkley video: [link]

John Paul sez, "My sister Wendy went to Jamaica to make a music video for Gnarls Barkley. I've always found it fascinating how she listens to songs and just fantasizes about what imagery or story goes with the music, and then struggles to make the video happen in an incredibly short time frame and on a tight budget. This video is maybe her finest. The imagery comes out of her head, partly inspired by a trip we made to Africa, partly inspired by Jamaican dance hall glory.

"Filming in Jamaica is worth it, and the dancers are not the only amazing Jamaicans behind the video. The local crew worked themselves silly to make this happen."

An odd result of the Chinese mega-quake: NPR correspondents being interviewed on TV news shows.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Earworm of the day: Say Say Say. Why, when I haven't heard the song in years, I have no idea.

Which is bad, but not nearly as bad as when I got sucker-punched by Total Eclipse of the Heart last week.

Earworms: Your brain's way of saying "You've been Rickrolled."

Total Ecplipse of the Heart

We could have a discussion on the worst songs to be earwormed with, but some folks might get upset....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, after several work-days in a row of waking up early, getting to work early or at least on time, this morning I left five minutes late. Of course today was the day my train also decided to enjoy the lovely weather, so I waited like 15 more minutes to get on a train, and was 20 minutes late. Hate that!

At least the weather is lovely.
