For SFIstas: Million Pirate March
On May 18, 2008 history will be made when up to 1,000,000 pirates will march forth toward the sea in San Francisco, California. This is a time to affirm our love of pirates, parrots and even wooden peg legs.
Never before have pirates joined together peacefully in such large numbers to celebrate... well... being pirates.
This momentous occasion also happens to coincide with the annual Bay to Breakers event which will be held on the same day, at the same time and on the same route as us pirates will take on our journey to the ocean. This means we will probably blend in with all the other regular folks who might happen to be dressed as pirates anyway.
Back atcha Sox. In a rambling way.
I picked up all of the Ann Coulter books that were on one of the B&N front-of-store tables and took them to the "fertilizer" section of the gardening shelves.
But there are oh so many, many rugby players floating around.
Ha! I was invited to go to rugby tourney in Ireland this summer. Mostly gay ruggers, but would be a brilliant time. Unfortunately, between the flight and the abysmal exchange rate, I couldn't afford it.

The same is true of shelf space in grocery stores. Therefore, Ron Paul supporters should boycott food.
HA!
I should sign up for Bay to Breakers. I think I'm off either the week before or week after.
I just made reservations to go to Vegas to see my mom. My poor mom is having a rough patch, with Gracie being Gracie and my sister having cancer and now being on the transplant list, she's got a lot of stress going.
She's staying at the Flamingo and I didn't make reservations early enough so I missed the cheaper $85 room. The only rooms left are $125. For an extra $30 I could stay at the Bellagio. For $5 less I could stay at Mandalay Bay (my fave). But the point is not to vacation in Vegas but to see my mom. So I ponied up the money to stay the Flamingo. Sigh.

But if it were bestselling at the BN he mentions, wouldn't they have sold more than 1 copy in the interim of him checking (and buying 2 of the 3 sold) and now?
I couldn't afford it.
This is entirely understandable. The exchange rate is ridiculous right now. Still, would have been great to have a Buffisa visit! Especially a gay rugby Buffista visit. It's the best kind, I imagine.

well, almost. Buffista who is a gay rugby fan. Still, fun! I love Ireland. For my 30th, my BFF and I rented a car and drove the southern half, from Shannon to Dublin. So much fun.
Are the Ron Paul books the ones being bought in bulk? Are they the ones with the NYT dagger?
