Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

I am at work now. But I was leaving the house to come to work, and the new phone book was on my doorstep. Just when I thought the day couldn't get more exciting!

Also, my regular Starbucks barista gave me my coffee gratis when she heard was at home all morning with plumbing problems.

I feel very strongly that it should be time for lunch now.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I feel very strongly that shrift is correct.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I support both Tom Scola and shrift, while I sit here eating almonds at my desk.

So, I am looking for a shoe storage solution. I think this is BRILLIANT [link] But my shoes aren't pretty enough to justify a wheeled public display.

Aimee, sorry to hear about your job. No one needs more stress.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

what is this phone book of which you speak? free coffee is a win though. I put off the talky voice of fiscal irresposibility in my head and held out for free office coffee this morning. I am not sure what it is in my head that just wants to go buy stuff. I think I actually like the office coffee better than the DD.

My parents got into the most hilarious argument last night on the phone. They were actually getting really irritated with each other and Dad was about to hang up until I started laughing hysterically.

The subject of the argument? Whether it is their 39th or 40th anniversary after being married for 40 years this September. (Mom was wrong, but has math issues and no amount of explanation was overcoming those issues and Dad has stubborn issues, so.)

I'm taunting them with this one everytime they start arguing on the phone.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Kat, we have a shoe wheel here at the office - be warned, it's bigger than it looks online. (The co-worker who bought it assumed it would fit under her desk. It does not.)
