Our wings are not tired.

(has anyone heard how Erin is? Did her surgery go okay?)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think there has been an Erin update yet.

ER visit is currently ass. No dent in the pain, and it doesn't look like they're going to give me more meds.

I put this off as much as I can because it's awful as well as inconvenient for everyone, so now what? There's nothing that comes after this on the list.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Shit ita. They gave you the full prescribed does and it did not work?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh, ita. I wish I could make it better, even for a little bit. After shift change will your chances for palliative relief improve with a new doc?

Off topic: We took a field trip with the baby to the Americana at Brand today. Pretty in a Disney/Las Vegas way. Baby loves the fountain. And he got a free tshirt. Most of the stores are way overpriced. So no shopping for us.

I hope to not be around at doctor shift change, at it's the new nurse (new to me too) who's digging her heels in.

Problem is, they dosed me correctly and then left me in the hall opposite the open door of the radio room. So while the nurse tries to talk the doctor out of meds, I'm treated to marathon trainimg convos peppered with ambulance calls. Wait, no, she's back. Not sure for how much, but it's a start.

God, wish you pain relief ita. If there was any thing any of us could do...

And in another startling turnaround, they just dupped my initial dosage. They're very weird. I just wish they were QUIET. Because all the drugs in the world won't trump that while I am conscious.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm very glad they're giving you more pain meds.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.
