How's your house project coming along?
Good, as far as I can tell! I need to post the pictures I've taken. All the drywall is up and the electrical (of course, done before the drywall) and he's working on the plumbing now I think.
Soon I'm going to have to decide about flooring and I just don't know!

I should! I'm not even sure what exactly my options are going to be. I know Armstrong tile and parquet. Ceramic tile is an option but I think too expensive.
You want tile-ish? My parents just put a bamboo floor in their kitchen, and it's niiiice.

I hear that it's really soft, and if you have a lot of people with high heels, it will leave marks in the floor. But, I just read that in an article about some chi chi store in NY that had bamboo flooring, so it could be crap.

According to my floor-installing-ex, bamboo in high-traffic places (like restaurants and stores) needs to be refinished every six months. Luckily, since it's soft, the refinishing is very easy.
