Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At least it looks like I'll get painkillers today. I really take the E out of ER. But if that's the only place that will make the headaches stop, that's where I have to go and spend my $75 copay per. Ride is scheduled so I don't have to miss work and everything. Ain't life grand.

not necessary to be offered twice. Though I do mean it just that much.

Nah. I can't even justify being off work. I am going in late and leaving a bit early, though. But this week is no time to be missing a full day.

Thanks, for both times.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oy, ita. I hope your pain is helped by the ER.

OK- now crazy!BigBoss is giving me carrot/stick promotion talk. But she has screwed my boss over so badly, I do not want to believe in her. My thought is to stick it out for the promotion and a year, and then get another same level job. Oh- we are also moving, which means I either have to buy a car or spend 3 hours on a bus each day. Or move myself, I suppose.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just had a moment of oldness, which only people who listened to early 90s R&B will understand. I was looking at a group of 55 teen girls, and TWO of them were named Jodeci. JODECI! The girls were born in 1992, so you know "Forever My Lady" was super special and meaningful to the mothers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For the francophiles and Smiths fans, something I spotted elsewhere and wanted to share:

Something that always struck me about Johnny Marr's name was that it's an almost-homonym of the phrase "j'en ai marre" (meaning "I'm fed up"). I did wonder, briefly, whether this was some kind of pseudonymic nod to French existentialism. - Patrick Cates

His real name is Johnny Maher.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Moving has caused me to lose weight and now I have droopy drawers.

I plan to paint this weekend, and put in my order for the wall tattoos today so I can put them on the weekend after. And then my living room will be halfway done!

Yikes. I need money for chairs and bookshelves and fabric. I hate waiting.
