...there are many things I could be doing (shopping for various things, exploring Seattle). Several things I probably should be doing (gym, cooking healthy food, cleaning). But nothing pressing...and I don't even have the oomph to go get coffee, yet. Though I have now showered and dressed. That's a start, right?

It's very quiet here on the intarwebs, though...I'm all caught up...whatever to do?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

TJs is in my future too. Ugh.

I got up early, played with Noah. Made sweet potatoes and steamed zucchini for his dinners. Then yoga, out for breakfast (ate too much) and visited Grace. Now baby's napping and I may go to a second yoga class at 2:30 with baby.

I have 3 square canvases that I want to hang in the living room (here they are). The problem is we don't really have a space for them. We have this weird window into the dining room that takes up a big chunk of the wall.To put them below the space would have them almost on the couch. Above the TV is wrong. I need help.

Also! My armenian grocery store has turned into a glatt market! Like overnight! Which would be fine, but I was all confused. And there are a ton of Israeli products (mostly beauty stuff) that wasn't there before.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm still in my pajamas and trying to decide if I should get dressed and go see Iron Man today or wait and hope it will be less crowded tomorrow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I managed to wake up earlier in time to take my meds on schedule, which is good. I guess I could maybe get out of bed in general too.

I didn't know what glatt meant, and googling took me here. I'm not aware of any other religions being not only that stringent in dietary rulings, but also--it's treated like law, with precedents, etc. Truly complex.

Okay. Getting vertical. Obtaining food, even.

I remembered I had leftovers from dinner last night (mac and cheese with peas and ham! mmm). So I still haven't had to leave the house...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm making tofu with spicy greens for dinner. The recipe is for tofu with watercress, but I got a bag of spicy greens at the farmers market, and I think it'll work well. Plus, I've got a package of tofu that's going to expire next week. Add some sauces and ginger and garlic and rice, and voila. Dinner.

Just realized I don't have paper towels. Maybe I can press the tofu without them.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ooh, that sounds good, Hil.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Target trip went really well, I was not expecting that. I got several snack things for mac, he got 2 toys with a giftcard, and I got 2 organizey things for his existing toys (we are about to have a toy purge).

Now a friend is over for what I hope is a 2.5 or 3 hour playdate.

I've been sorting through my pantry and realized I've got close to half a gallon of dried split peas, plus nearly as much of various kinds of lentils. Considering that about a cup makes a pot of soup, I think I don't need to buy any more legumes for a while. (I've also got random bits of other sorts of dried beans, mostly black beans and kidney beans, but the lentils and split peas are a bit overwhelming.)
