I finally ate at Applebee's! And it was delicious. And there looked like a lot of other good things on the menu. So there. The only annoyance was that the check was fourteen-something, so I asked for change from my $20, because I was going to leave a $3 tip. Perfectly respectable. But she came back with a $5 bill for me. I over-tipped out of annoyance. Who does that?

Dude. "Can I get change" means "can I get the change broken down into smaller units". Not "can I get back the difference between this and the total on the bill". That part comes by default unless otherwise stated!
