Making plans with people who are paralyzingly indecisive? Not fun.
Ugh.
I hate that.
Not that it really makes me more decisive, but still.
I'll never make it to everyday makeup, I think. But every now and again I want to make it look like I haven't given up on the outside world, and I'd hate for anyone to expire from the surprise of seeing me painted.
I actually like putting it on, and like the various looks I can achieve. It just seems to fall by the wayside early on in.

Like, we just want
some
input. Location? Cost? Anything? Bueller?
Edited to remove the whiny.
Mostly the challenge was finding a hotel for 1 night for 5 people.
Apropos of today's discussion, I gave Frances some fruity smelling lip gloss for Easter. She just came over to me and put some on my lips. And I've also put clear sparkly nail polish on her toes.
So I'm guessing that makes me the parent who lets her daughter wear make up at 4, forget about 12. I have a clear memory of wearing lip gloss in grade school myself (remember Bonnie Bell?). I'm wondering when it became such a big deal.
As long as we're talking makeup, here's an ABC News slide show comparing celebrities with and without makeup:

I found it all kinds of encouraging because quite frankly I'm no worse looking than some of them without the glitz.

I remember being really pissed when I couldn't wear makeup and heels at like 12 or so, because I could play with it when I was younger. My mother's point was that now it wasn't playing, and I was still too young for that. (Then when I was probably 13 she took me to see her makeup ladies. I don't wear makeup regularly now.)

Hell yes. Give me a professional makeup artist, stylist, fancy clothes, photographer and someone touching up my pictures in Photoshop? Booyah. Even if I valued looks I couldn't let those women make me feel worse about myself. Most of them aren't real. And for those who are? Bully for the Halle Berry's of the world. Then what?
Am I the only one who thought Kate Moss looked better without make-up?
Okay, most of those women looked perfectly normal sans make up, but both pictures of Goldie Hawn scared me. Also? Madonna is wearing make up in both. How could they not notice?
ION, my son is running around naked. What is it about toddlers? Always naked.
I thought Jessica Simpson looked fabulous without make-up. Ditto Kim Kardashian.

Yes, but she was completely unrecognizable.
