Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hm. You know, I'd rather put together a container garden on the balcony than unpack. Right now, I just have my lemon tree, which seriously needs some repotting. I have to go grab the jasmine on my way home.

Punishingly Intricate

(this perception is based on an interview with a local songwriter/performer who ended up with a piece of his being a theme of one of the eps, so not 100%.)

Really? Do you remember who?

In related news, Baltimore was just named "Best Rock Scene" or some shit by Rolling Stone. um. yay?

Yeah, lisah, that could be a two-edged sword. People in Boston still remember what a fucked-up disaster to local music the much-hyped "Boston Sound" was in the 60s.

But I know how you feel, since Davis Square started showing up on Hip Urban Neighborhood listings. Damnit, I moved there BEFORE it was cool.

In other news, I'm so sick of making animation that I'm posting to B.Org in lieu of chewing off a limb.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I actually woke up this morning on my own, without my cat coming in and meowing in my ear an hour before the alarm went off. This is such an unusual situation that I got up and went out to the living room to make sure she wasn't lying dead somewhere. She was fine, just sitting on her perch and looking out at the rain and cold.

I'm concerned about her because I discovered a lump on her back yesterday afternoon that wasn't there a few hours earlier. It's hard, but not like a bone or anything sticking out, and it doesn't hurt her when I press into it and she's just as agile as she normally is. I think I'll take her into the vet's office next payday (I can't afford it right now, unfortunately).

I just missed a meeting because I totally lost track of time while I was working on something. Looks bad. Oops.

I'm sure my students feel the same way. What program are you using?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So is it Monday, and I'm at work? Or am I just dreaming this?

3dsMax from Autodesk -- very fancy indeed. And usually, I'm happy and eager to be working, but not this morning so much....

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So is it Monday, and I'm at work? Or am I just dreaming this?

God I hope so. Because then there's a chance that something could wake you up and we'd all get a do over.
