Sweet, so am I! How's that going for you? Do you have the hang of materials yet? That's been a problem for me.

Anyway, that's cool. We should chat sometime.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

my face feels weird today! I think I got too much sun but it's not really burned or anything.

I biked 50 miles on Saturday!!! I was going to do about 40 more yesterday but it was raining (Thank God). Sat. we went all over DC on trails. Beautiful!!!

That sounds like so much fun, lisa.

I need to get my bike and see if I can get a baby seat attached. And then try to find a noah sized helmet. FWIW, he cried bloody murder when I tried a helmet on him this weekend.

I'm in on of my vintage dresses. It fits well enough and I had forgotten how much I love it. This might be another summer of flowy dresses, even if the fashionistas say that by end of summer, the dress is dead.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Allyson, 3 months is usually my deadline for unpacking. Of course, I then have to start packing again in 8 months for the next move. I just flatten all the boxes and put them under the bed.

I'm wearing a dress shirt and a wool sweater. Plus my leather jacket. IOW, I'm dressed for early March....

I hear him. I think I've got perma welts on my forehead now from my helmet. Fortunately I also have the Longest Bangs in the History of Bangs (due to getting back too late on Sat. for my bang-cutting appointment).

Do you have the hang of materials yet?

We did a week of materials, but the instructor was of the opinion that we should spend a month on it to do them full justice. Once you get beyond the simple color-picking, you can do a lot with texture and shading and semi-translucency, not to mention how they handle shadows and refraction.

I modeled a crystal skull yesterday that came out pretty spiffy, actually. :-)
