Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Give allergy relief with one hand, battle insomnia with the other.

Cass and I are Benedryl sisters. I've lived on the stuff for years, but I'd be rich if I had a dollar for everyone who told me to just take a Benedryl and I'd go right to sleep. Ha.

I woke up today to my clock radio's announcing that Mars was buying Wrigley's chewing gum. It took me a while to parse that it wasn't the planet.

In other breaking news, my calves are also cold. Clearly, I should have worn tights.

I was just asked to be proxy godmother for a baptism because the actual godmother can't be there.

The likelihood I'd ever be asked to be godmother is so slim& none that even getting this close is weird.

But I'm happy to do it!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I did wear tights, and am still not that warm. I am also thisclose to falling asleep at my desk.

It was snowing just west of here this morning.

We had snow on Friday, and there have been bad storms out west. It's hard on the head. We also had some unseasonably warm temperatures beforehand which spoiled us into thinking we'd have a normal spring like the rest of the world.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Today is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's!

Unfortunately the nearest scoop shop to me is a 15-minute walk through cold rain. Not the kind of day that puts me in the mood for ice cream. BLARGH.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I slept like a rock last night. I wish I had the week off to put stuff away and flail.

Ruby is still hiding under the bed, though she didn't wake me up crying at all last night. First night in she was in the closet, crying and cowering in a corner. I really wanted to join her. Haven't broken down yet, maybe the stress is like a slow leak?
