It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Josef F. lived upstairs with his wife, Rosemarie F., who police said had no idea about her husband's other family living in the cellar.

I mean, come on. Not that I doubt it, but just imagine--your husband has his eldest daughter locked up in the basement behind electronically coded doors and has fathered seven children with her--and you've adopted three of them. How fucked is that?

I can only guess that if you're married to Josef F., maybe you have other issues -- maybe domestic abuse and attendant mental problems.

God I had kind of a bad weekend. Broke my drinking-with-colleagues policy and let my paralegals get me too drunk, with hangover to follow and had to cancel my haircut the next morning. Last night I stayed sober at a party and realized I was boring even myself, and just left early. Today I had nothing to do and didn't leave the house. At least the house is clean and the DVR is empty. Blergh.

Repeat: so I had an light friendship with some chick in the AF Academy. And she got the opportunity to fly F-somethings. And I'm seeing the bias on Carrier, despite that gals are flying, and it makes me sad. Because she loved flying, but loved something else more, but what about those that loved flying more? And that is somehow wrong? Fuck that, kids.

Kristen put a brace up for my AC for the bedroom, which is cooling down right now. Need lori to come check on it. I feel the need for an engineer's okay.

I feel the need for an engineer's okay, too. Putting in someone else's a/c has made me all paranoid.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Can I confess to randomness? I met Polgara in the Denver airport for a drink and nachos. Though we live less than 15 miles apart, we are more apt to see each other when we are both hundreds of miles away.

I think that's awesome.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yeah--I had dinner in Minneapolis with Meara last year, which ROCKED. Buffista meetings in odd places are da bomb.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My room still hasn't reached 68 degrees. That's all I want. It's a pretty small bedroom. I have no idea how Colin managed the heat. But you know, it was just stupid hot this weekend.

I didn't get a text, Kat.

...you keep it at 68 degrees, Allyson??

That was awesome! I love meeting up with people in places where neither of us are from. Though meeting up with people at all is good too...while I've quite enjoyed my coworkers here, and for several days enjoyed the expense-account dinners, I'm over it and want to be HOME with my FRIENDS. But I still have three more days of training. Agh! Why aren't there Indy buffistas? My family is so not fun and relaxing to hang out with...but having a beer by myself is only so much fun.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

My AC has been on all day and the house is still 80. Is 68 possible?

I usually set it to 72, and it's an energy saver so it shuts off once it gets that cool.

It's supposed to get cooler tomorrow, yeah? Please?
