I'm trying to figure out how do I feel about this picture. Something about it bothers me. Maybe because I know it's the graphics for the alternative Holocaust remembrance day event, but I'm sure that's not the reason.

Also, never been to a casket funeral of any sort. The only funerals I've been to, they were using shrouds (tachrichim).

It's 1:30 but feels much later. I got up early and went for a strenuous walk in the woods with the dogs, and then found out my SIL is in labor (but not in the hospital yet), and did a ton of yard work, and made lunch and read the paper, and it's only 1:30.

Maybe I'll take a nap. What I should do is pay bills and mop the kitchen floor.

I made a cake last night for a BBQ today, but it's been cancelled because of my SIL being in labor and now I have to resist the siren call of Betsy's Indiana Pound Cake until tomorrow morning, when I can bring it into the office...

Me and my friend Kirsty are coming to LA, and then San Diego for Comic-Con this year. Woo!

However, we've hit a problem. We can't find a hotel anywhere near the convention center which isn't booked. Help! We've got a budget of about $140 for a double bed room. Any suggestions?
