Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Hey, is anybody else's gmail in a death spiral? Mine seems to be attempting to reload itself unto eternity, and will not cough up my mail.

Very irritating.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, gmail is not talking to me this morning.

Librarian Warlord

Nutty, it's happened to me a couple of times lately. I've been able to get to the email through igoogle, but not directly through the gmail page because of the endless loading.

OK, I have much hatred in my heart regarding the Open Source Boobie Project. SO MUCH.

Honestly, my reaction has passed into just pointing and laughing at the douchebag who started it; the reason my reaction has turned into mockery is that he's married. So, his wife's boobies weren't enough to bring about his Speshul Magical Healing From The Indignities of High School?

That says it all to me about his douchebaggy patriarchal entitlement. Loser.

Coding and Sleeping

I mean, it uses ethanol but that's not really saying a lot. But it's zoooooooooooomy. And zoomy is good to me. Unless it's a teal car.

So not only is there the carbon footprint, but also the offsetting of farmland for fuel production resulting in world starvation. Now in baseball you have the creation of farmland. To make baseball bats you use the entire trunk of a tree to whittle down to a baseball bat (it's true, I saw it on a cartoon. Simpsons maybe? I forget.) so you need a lot of trees to be cut down. What do you do with with forests that have been cut down and cleared to make baseball bats? It's turned into cropland or grazing land for cattle.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's turned into cropland

Which is then used to grow corn to destroy the world create ethanol to power Cass's cars. It's the circle of sports!

Cattle are important for making baseballs, you know. Also cork and lots and lots of string. (I don't know what string is made out of, but surely it comes from a farm!!)

And when you're done using a baseball, you can eat it.

able to get to the email through igoogle

Aha, good tip. I'll try that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I remember reading that in --- Welsh, maybe? -- there way a grayish-green color that had a separate word from just "green."

Also, when I learned the rainbow in school, it was red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. My mother learned it at red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. I remember having arguments with her when I was six or so and drawing a picture of the rainbow, and she thought it had the wrong colors.

I have so much hatred for today that I don't think I can quantify it. Maybe if the universe sent me a cabana boy with some thai food and an ice pack.

shrift, I'm with you. I am made entirely of gronk and mast cells. Stupid pollen. The only thing getting me through today is the prospect of new comics.
