I did not, dagnabbit! I've been trying to catch the Jodie Foster "King and I" to see a wee-Tom Felton (Draco) - he plays Louis Leonowen.
So there's this person. Who owns this company. Who took me to lunch to pick my brain 3 years ago. Several months later a friend who worked for him said, offhandedly, 'yeah. X was bummed you didn't take him up on the job offer.' and I was amused/boggled. "You should swing by and check out our offices..." != offer.
jump to now. where a person I do a lot of work with now bumps in to X and mentions me in the course of things. And the first thing X says is "Yeah. I almost hired her..."
