Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Aimee, did you see Daniel Radcliffe as Rudyard Kipling's son Jack last night on "masterpiece" on PBS? It was pretty good, but unfortunately there was no nudity at all. Also, I fell asleep after he died. And Kim Cattrell was pretty bad as his mom (was she an American?)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimee, did you see Daniel Radcliffe as Rudyard Kipling's son Jack last night on "masterpiece" on PBS?

I did not, dagnabbit! I've been trying to catch the Jodie Foster "King and I" to see a wee-Tom Felton (Draco) - he plays Louis Leonowen.

not your mom's socks.

So there's this person. Who owns this company. Who took me to lunch to pick my brain 3 years ago. Several months later a friend who worked for him said, offhandedly, 'yeah. X was bummed you didn't take him up on the job offer.' and I was amused/boggled. "You should swing by and check out our offices..." != offer.

jump to now. where a person I do a lot of work with now bumps in to X and mentions me in the course of things. And the first thing X says is "Yeah. I almost hired her..."

WTF?

Also - I'm not sure I like the way that sentence is devolving.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

has often spoken about not being able to find a girlfriend.

Seriously? This seems like just asking for trouble.

Though now that I think about it, it's probably hard to increase the amount of attention he gets from fans. So never mind.

He is almost too sweet to believe, isn't he? Does anyone else think he's secretly a giant bastard who's just incredibly good at projecting the image of a shy, miraculously unspoiled teen celebrity? No? Just me? Maybe I should work on that suspicion thing.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

And Kim Cattrell was pretty bad as his mom (was she an American?)

I watched the show last night, and she really did improve after Jack went missing, when she was on her mission to find out what happened to him. At the end, when his death is finally verified by one of his platoon members, the grief and "keep on keeping on"-ness of the parents were equally well-done by both of the actors.

The end had me crying, but that could have PMS. (I was weeping after reading an old Calvin and Hobbes cartoon this morning, so I'm primed to shed tears over anything right now.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Wasn't there a Buffista conversation about this?

Yes, yes there was. And Flea correctly identified the location. Plus there was mocking.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, people at work! Why doesn't the project manager think she's responsible for managing the project??! Even though the work is split up among many people, she could still manage the work! And then why do people keep escalating before talking to all of the relevant people??

I swear to god, I'm going to end up managing this thing, and I just don't want to. You know why? Because it's NOT MY JOB.
