And yay me, 'cause I seem to have satisfied the fuckcake 'o the (two) day(s) AND sicced him on the person in his office who takes a minimum of two hours to return a call.
This weekend I will be starting to unpack my summer clothes and pack away the winter ones (it's EIGHTY out there!).

How does one cite a press release from a web site?
Kristin, I definitely have to sign up for either an institute or a workshop. I'm supposed to get my book order in for next year next week so I guess I should start thinking of my proposal and what'll be on the syllabus.
Kat, let me know if you want to collaborate at all. I can steal borrow the excellent AP Lit curriculum from my school if you'd like to take a look.
I'd love to collaborate! I'm still overwhelmed at the thought of having to order books next week. There's the stuff I love and then there is the stuff I certainly don't love. But ack.
I just sent an email to the two current AP Lit teachers (both PhD...no, I'm not intimidated by them at all ...) asking for their course outlines. Let me know when you have some time to meet. Maybe lunch this weekend?
In other job news, I am being interviewed by a slew of my colleagues and bosses on Monday for the 10th grade class dean position. Meep. The position is basically a class advisor--I'd have a slightly reduced teaching load, a tiny raise, and become the main coordinator/liaison for the grade.
