Four hours of sleep. Bad, bad meeting last night. Stuff getting worse at Gaza Strip, where my sister serves. Washing machine broke (there are still water all over the floor, I'm waiting for it to stop to finish mopping the floor). I forgot I cleaned my room for Passover and ate bread in it.
Strangely, I'm doing fine, as long as I'm not looking at the headlines and the news portal.
Skipping (and slipping for a minute from the Pessakh-and-work-combo craziness) to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is NoiseDesign's birthday.
Happy birthday,ND! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Happy birthday, NoiseDesign!
(And a great nickname!)
gronk. i really don't want to get up and moving. curling up and going back to sleep is much more appealing. especially since my eyes are burning like fire. stupid allergies.
Oh yes, I'm almost headbanning with nothing but agreement, and it's noon-ish here.
Except for headbanning takes too much energy, so it's mostly nodding.
I'm watching my early AM disappear in a puff of smoke -- where does it GO?
Yikes, Shir. Maybe I woke up a 4:30 my time in sympathy with you? I must have had a bad dream, but I don't remember what it was. So then I started worrying about work, so then I got up and found a pen and made a list, and sort of went back to sleep, enough to have more wierd dreams. Ugh.
Oh, Jesse, I hate having weird dreams-waking up-having yet more weird dreams. One should feel safe and warm and loved in his/her bed. Although right now, mere sleeping will (would?) suffice.
Hippo birdies, o kilted one!
{{{Shir}}} I'm sorry about the Gaza news -- for everyone in the middle of it, but especially for your sister and your whole family.
