Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You're KILLING me here.

::considers hitching to NJ tomorrow::

Are you coming to the F2F? I will bring you Taylor Ham.

My cousins take a bunch home to Illinois after their trip down the shore every summer.

Ha...Trudy would've kissed the Munchkin. I appreciate your wanting to take one for the team that way.

His hair is all thick and white and sort of gorgeous. The man has aged well.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The deli down the block from my office has a sign offering "Tayler pork roll." I keep wanting to tell them that it's wrong.

Because books.

I'm not, sadly. Not this year. Thank you, though!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I spent so much time at Denny's that I wound up hanging out with staffers off hours. Also, I used to keep a checklist of all the ones I had visited.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My mother had a bad meal at a Denny's when we were kids and decided the whole chain was evil. She used to hiss and say boo Denny's whenever we passed on, even if it was one in a completely different state.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

HA! Denny's! I get weird high school flashbacks whenever I even contemplate going to one.

I remember in DC we used to have a Steak and Egg that was 24 hours and in walking distance. But man, you had to be desperate for that.

24 Diners are now lost on me. Early AM diners? Totally all over that. Like the Bob's on Riverside with the old time sign. They might be 24 hours but they are definitely open at 4 AM. As is Astro's on Fletcher in Silver Lake. We used to have breakfast every friday AM at 5:30.

I'm on day 3 of my reintro to yoga. It's like a whole new thing now. But I think I have a whole new body too (just not in a good way).

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

BWAH! Did anyone else see tonight's TDS? The section where the writers changed all the names on Jon during the "fallen British soldiers" nearly made me pee myself. So. Funny.

That was last Thursday's TDS, Kristin, but yeah, SO funny.
