Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

Someone gave me the Hebrew version. I've been remembering it as Nilly. Possible it wasn't, and I'm simply associating Nilly with All Things Hebrew and Hebrew-speaking. (Except the woman on NCIS.)

Punishingly Intricate

I took my taxes to the CPA for the first time this year because it was worth it to pay someone else rather than spending the time and frustration to do it myself.

I've had a guy do my taxes for the last few years. It's always worth it to me. But I'm arithmatic-phobic.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Someone gave me the Hebrew version.

I bet it's dubbed. If you read Kermit's lips, I'm sure he's actually speaking in English.

t /random silliness

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I've done my taxes online for the last few years. I worked for H&R Block back in the day of paper returns from them. Oy, so glad to be past that.

For this year, I will have (crosses fingers, knock on wood) sold a house, moved to a new state, and divorced (not sure of timing on that one). So I may seek help. I really should look up if it makes a difference which state I'm in for over 6 months or if that matters at all.

"Did you move out of the state? No."

"What is the end date of your residency?"

Er... WHAT?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I've been remembering it as Nilly.

I'll ask her.

If you read Kermit's lips, I'm sure he's actually speaking in English.

I actually thought so, as a child. I also remember I knew the puppets aren't real and can't talk, and now I'm envy at child-Shir, for being able to live with both ideas at her head at the same time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, I mainly just wanted to render him quiet and passive so the people who've just captured him can take him to where they're going to hold him captive without him kicking up a ruckus or trying to get away.

Nuh-uh! Not according to the Absolutely Infallible TV!

(nobody's taking me seriously, right? I mean...it's me. Right?)

I think I've filled out my California return three times now, first to prove to myself that yes, tax software be damned, I DO owe them money; and then because it turns out actually to be easier to fill out the damned form than use the software; and finally just because it's so much easier than the other state's that I found it reassuring. Well done, California!
