Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Well, I mainly just wanted to render him quiet and passive so the people who've just captured him can take him to where they're going to hold him captive without him kicking up a ruckus or trying to get away. Though, you know, I guess one of them could just hold a pistol to his head or something.

Give the guy a crack to the head to knock him out for a few minutes, then have him hog-tied for transport. Or even just have the character be conscious but docile for the trip -- a blow to the head can take the fight out of you for a while, even if you were only down for a minute or two. Possibly even have one of the head-crackers acknowledge that it's an imprecise method of pacification, and that it's easy to accidentally kill someone by hitting them anywhere on the head

Now tagless for your comfort.

My trivia team came in 22 out of over 400 teams. Not too shabby. I even managed to pull a few answers for them (earning me a "Good job, Noobie!").

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"What, they hit him THERE? How is he not dead or a vegetable?"

It's not about where you hit someone, it's more about how hard. Sean's right--you're not going to be able to get anything on a scale larger than minutes out of unconsciousness itself. If you want him inactive you're going to need to do something else.

Ah, great. It's not so much the interest that's the barrier--I have to account for the unemployment I received this year. That's going to be its own little challenge to research.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I can't believe it, but at last, I finished the mini-project for work.

Just let me say that when I have a deadline that's about to pass any minute now, the safe way to make sure I'll stay focused on my work ISN'T planting spikeithard.com into the list of sites for me to index.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

This is the part of the morning where I suddenly realize that I'm not on my way to class, because somehow the day has sprung forward an hour or so. And it happens nearly every weekday, too!

Mornings are hard.

Yikes - be well mac. Is the nausea gone at least? Nothing worse than having nausea (and possibly needing to throw up) on top of all that other ick.
