Shit's all sorts of different now.

( continues...)

Company is currently seeking out business opportunities that will immediately allow for growth in both compensation and responsibility for this position. This will include the purchase and development of more real estate.

Which I can't really afford, but will buy anyway because I am a spiled brat who can't stand to not have anything I don't want.

Compensation: 32k/year and includes paid vacation and paid sick leave. There are no benefits available for this position at this time.

Vacation and sick time will actually not be granted. You will be way too important to the company to ever be absent.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That list of responsibilities, for that salary, with no benefits? Is ON CRACK.

Our wings are not tired.

Aims, is 32K decent pay in Ann Arbor? Just curious, since I know California offers little reality in terms of comparisons.

I'd guess they can get away with it because of how awful the job market is there right now. I have a friend who wants to move back to Michigan but knows she just couldn't survive their right now...if she could even find a job.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It is and it isn't.

It is because the economy here is just so bad - he'll have a shitton of resumes by end of the week.

It isn't because that job should pay $60k+ for the work that is really involved.
