Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

There is a kid's book called Toad Rage all about th e adventures of Limpy, a cane toad , who wants to improve human/cane toad relationships. Matt kicked me out of the living room when I was reading it because I was laughing so hard he couldn't read.

Back at ya, Raq! Happy Mother's Day to all.

I'm working, but not much. Messing with board settings.

I need to do some work, but I'm still recovering from my neph's wedding.

My mother's day present was the Avatar DVDs. Mal has a total crush on the girl.

I just took a walk in my neighborhood. It's a lovely day out--fairly warm in the sun, but cold in the shade if you're not moving around. I returned library books, and went to the farmer's market (the first one of the season for this location). I bought a tomato plant, and some cheese. Sadly, the flowers were overpriced and the asparagus was huuuuuuuge (I prefer skinny asparagus, not ones that are bigger than my thumbs). Then I got a latte, and walked past the DAR hall where the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are having a Mother's Day Mad Hatter's Tea. There were Sisters dressed up of course, and someone on stilts, and burlesquers, and some people spinning fire, and juggling...

Yay, my neighborhood!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Watching Clean House makes me feel much better about my own space. I feel silly for having a Klein bottle on display, but this guy's got a set of Arsenio Hall mugs.
