[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

ION, yup, my body did it again. A lil later, 8:30. WTF people?? I am NOT a morning person. Especially on what might be my last day off for a few weeks. I should be able to SLEEP till noon or something. Nope. :; sigh ::

I just woke up a few minutes ago. Sent an ecard to my mom to tell her that there's a real card in the mail. I should go work on my dissertation today, but I so don't feel like it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There's a lion habitat with a glass-walled/roofed walkthrough, and there was a male lion lounging on top of the walkthrough. The ceiling was too dirty and scratched up for good pictures, but it was neat to walk underneath a lion.

Ooh! I'll have to add that to the list of things to do next time I'm in Vegas, though I guess I can't count on lions looming while lounging.

That sounds like a lot of fun, meara, aside from the GILF's mixed messages. The only time I've done the murder mystery thing I was cast as the murderer so I didn't get to guess. Go you getting it right!

Throat soothing~ma for Jessica.

Eta mysteriously missing "o"s

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Meara, I do so love hearing about your weekend adventures. You are always trying cool new things and getting all the enjoyment out of them you can. Go you!

My weekend, not so exciting, but nice. We played with new doggie and took him and Layla on a 3-mile walk, which included sitting at an outdoor cafe. Last night, we went to Ironman, which I dug. Today I am at the office for a bit, then go to the gym, then slounge at home. Tonight, Survivor finale.

meara, very happy you had fun at the party (despite GILF, who continues to annoy the crap out of me).

The doctor I went to said to try taking it with food, rather than on an empty stomach.

I did eat it with food! I took it, literally, a minute before I ate a full breakfast (which was disgustingly apparent later). Apparently, I needed to take it after a full breakfast. So gross and awful and bleh. But the good news is that I ate with no problems last night and feel fine today, so I am going to say definitively that it was the antibiotic. I am very glad that I am done with the antibiotic now.

Glad you're feeling better, Kristin.

I have conquered more cable clutter! I took the surge protector for the TV stuff and used mounting squares to attach it to the wall behind the TV. Presto, no cords trailing to the ground. I feel very accomplished.

(Yes, I'm trying to avoid working on my dissertation. What of it?)

Yeah, unfortunately when a doctor or instructions say to take a pill "with food" what they mean is "immediately after food". Good that the health care industry believes in clear communications.

I have been taking pills most of my adult life, and I find this out now??
