So sad. Forcing gender stereotypes on a child in the name of "helping" him or her makes me want to cry and scream at the same time. My cousin M. is that kind of father. He has two boys, and God forbid either of them do anything the least bit "girly." His father (no blood relation to me, thankfully) filled him with venom and hate for anything "queer." (Could I use more air quotes? Seriously.)
In meme news, 16 explications down, 4 to go. Then I can go home and goof off tonight since ND is out playing with a non-Buffista birthday friend. Stupid being sick and having to get up early. I hate being left behind. It's happened so much these past couple of weeks while I've been sick. Totally not ND's fault--I would want a break from being housebound if I were him, too--but it's a bummer.
