That steampunk laptop is awesome. Want!
Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Missing Monsters, awesome laptops! The internet is filled with goodness this morning.
Bonus points for subtle steampunk detailing.
Oooh, I could dig that! I need new frames this year, I think. But I still love the ones I have. I don't think I could do actual vintage frames, although I like the style, because they are usually so much heavier than modern ones.
Thanks for the b-day wishes! I am working from home today and have class tonight (ugh). I was sitting here feeling sorry for meself cause we don't have any b'fast stuff in the house. Then I remembered my co-worker gave me some yummy looking lemon preserves from England the other day, so now I have whole wheat toast with margarine and lemon preserves and a cup of (decaf) coffee! Yay!
Happy Birthday, GlamCookie!
I am going in late today due to continuing adventures with teh sick. Yay sleeping in until 8! However, I too was visited by the insomnia fairy last night in a major way, so I am filled with gronk. I think I got maybe 5 hours of solid sleep. Feh. My body is still not healthy enough to cope well with sleep deprivation.

EEEEH, SO SUGAR!
Who didn't notice the HUGE RIP in the ass of her jeans this morning and is wearing bright, red underwear????
ME! ME! ME!
dies of embarassment
I see London, I see France....
Happy Birthday, GC!
I'm back at work. Am very tired, because instead of going home, unpacking, and going to bed like a sensible person, I stayed up far too late watching election coverage. (I swear this thing is never going to end. When we finish up the 50 states plus territories we have, I figure they'll find a way to hold primaries in other countries or on Mars or something.) Am also sneezing, though I can't decide if it's treesex or a cold.
The trip was good. I'm getting along well with my brother and SIL now, after some tense email exchanges the past few years, so that's all to the good. I didn't get as much time with my mother as I'd hoped, because the anti-nausea drugs were making her so very sleepy. We did get to talk some yesterday. She told me she's trying to hang on for her second great-grandchild's birth in August/September and for her granddaughter's wedding in January.
