Happy Birthday, GC!
I'm back at work. Am very tired, because instead of going home, unpacking, and going to bed like a sensible person, I stayed up far too late watching election coverage. (I swear this thing is never going to end. When we finish up the 50 states plus territories we have, I figure they'll find a way to hold primaries in other countries or on Mars or something.) Am also sneezing, though I can't decide if it's treesex or a cold.
The trip was good. I'm getting along well with my brother and SIL now, after some tense email exchanges the past few years, so that's all to the good. I didn't get as much time with my mother as I'd hoped, because the anti-nausea drugs were making her so very sleepy. We did get to talk some yesterday. She told me she's trying to hang on for her second great-grandchild's birth in August/September and for her granddaughter's wedding in January.
Oh Aims, you need to come here and I will mend that for you....just take off your jeans and relax over there, ok? Oh wait, I can't sew.
This morning continues to be miserable for CJ. He is still
puking and has diarrhea. Darlin boy has gone through a few sets of boxers this morning
. Poor punkin is on the floor of my bedroom, curled up snoozing. We are supposed to have a pack of brokers through here in about an hour. FUN.
Also, honey? I was wrong to doubt the goodness of your taco salad and I declare here, in front of almost everyone we love and care for that

Freaking insomnia fairy. Someone out there must be getting a great night's rest cause they stole MY SLEEP.
I think the insomnia fairy was working overtime because they got mine too.
