Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm trying to find stuff on craigslist. I need a lamp and a headboard. Why are headboards so difficult to find? I don't really care all that much what it looks like, as long as it keeps my pillows from falling on the floor, but it seems like almost no one is ever getting rid of one. Lamps are easier, I'm just cheap and don't want to pay much for one.

Deep clean of the house would be really nice. I'm working on slowly doing it myself, but it's taking forever.

My new bookshelf came today. Now I need to move a whole bunch of stuff to make room for it. Feh. Why aren't there magical furniture-movers? I need to move one of my old bookcases, which means taking out all the books, moving the case, and then putting the books back.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aims, you could make that. Really, you can.

I know, but the fabrc alone would cost more than $20. Plus, doll dress!!!

probably because they're so damned expensive.

I'm going to make this a blind link, because Buffistas have suffered enough today. However if you want to see an example of extreme stupidity, and unfairness that may make you suspect Hiaasen's books of being non-fiction...

Clicked link. Weeps for Florida schools. No wonder we have such a huge teacher shortage.

It is way past my bedtime. G'night Bitches.

Seriously? What kind?

Just set up the new bookshelf. Was easier than I'd expected. But I just grabbed the books that have been on the floor and piled on the windowsill and on the table, and they fill up about 2/3 of it. I think I need to rearrange things so that book shelves are only books -- right now, I've got CDs and DVDs on one shelf, and my printer on another -- but even so, I think I'm getting very close to owning more books than this apartment can hold. I can probably cull a bit, but there aren't that many that I can get rid of. So this is two big antique glass-front cases, one little Ikea case, and one medium Target case full of books. I've got enough wall space for one more little Ikea case, but that's about it.
