Ooops, misunderstood. All my ~ma is with ya, kid. Selfishly I look forward to seeing you more while you are at home. Also, I got plenty of smite left for your idiot bosses when I finish with ND's asshats.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Incidentally, Laura, I thought your letter was excellent. Best of luck, love.

Oh, wow. Hugs all around! What a shitty day for people.

In my afternoon was difficult news, I had 18, count them 18!, kids in after care today. Eight of them were preschoolers. I really did about pull my hair out. Actually, the number of them wasn't even the worst. It was that they ranged in age from 4 to 13, and trying to please them all in one room is, well, impossible. So, then there's extra fun behavioral issues. Mostly, it SUCKED.

But, in good news, I talked to the principal afterwards and let him know that if on days like this I don't get some help, I'll quit. I'm getting some help. THANK GOD.

Yikes, vw. I think when my kids were preschool they never had more than a 6/1 ratio.

My plan to calm myself by sitting outside by the pool watching BSG on the laptop with a glass of wine and a lettuce and tomato sandwich at hand is working.

Yeah. I think MA law is 5/1, so yeah. It was bad.

I'm glad your plan is working! You deserve a working plan. Also, I thought the letter was fabulous. Good luck and many hugs.

Yeah, that's not right, VW!

I am proud, I went and worked out! Not a ton, but still! I even ran into my trainer while there...only to find out he doesn't work there anymore, and wants to set me up with some woman trainer who was wearing EXCESSIVE amounts of mascara. I mean, I found it excessive for daytime, probably for nighttime, and certainly for the gym...

I can't even remember who of my meatspace friends knows about all the various craptastic things right now, so I'm all like "And then I have to get surgery/update my resume..." and people are all "Brwha?"

Aww, Erin! We love you! And are very excited you'll be around for a bit after your surgery even if it's cause of a shitty thing like surgery. Er. And I know the feeling--I have a few friends I haven't talked to much, and I'm all "blah blah new job" and they're like "Didn't you start in October?" and I'm like "oh....well, see..."

I ate some jambalaya and took 2 Xanax. That stuff is the bomb. I feel much less....warhead-juggly.

not your mom's socks.

Erin - I may not be on the board tomorrow mid-morning, so I wanted to wish you a good surgery, a very skilled and good looking team of doctors, and a speedy recovery.

And if your asshat boss slips on a banana peel and whacks his ass tomorrow morning at 8 am CMT, then all the better.

I threadsucked all the DEATH DEATH STABBY STABBY posts from a week ago, and am now all incredibly cheerful and vindicated! I'd like to say thanks from the bottom of my black little heart for all the generous offers of mayhem, squelching death and lyrical cursing.

Query to anyone who has had c-section/other near-waist work: Are drawstring PJ botttoms gonna be ok? And possible TMI question I'll probably be having a D&C in addition to the laporotomy. Should I expect vaginal bleeding?
