Middle of the back, actually, which I can vouch really hurts. Two games ago the opposing shortstop nailed me on the spine with an errant throw during warmups.
It was a useful reminder, because I had forgotten that when you get hit like that it doesn't just hurt, but you get a huge shock of adrenaline to the body which is really unsettling. Your nervous system is basically screaming, "Trauma!" and running around hysterically flapping its dendrites.

The lull before the storm that is work right now is uncanny. The list that I was to generate today was based on a phone call that didn't happen as planned. Rather than talking to the designer about the next show, I got a call from him telling me he went in last night for an emergency appendectomy. Yikes! I think I'm going home early. Frack it.
