For a starter.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hope you can go home and get some rest soon, Kristin.
Oh, Kristin, that's a good department head. Hang in there!
Kristin I'm so glad you're getting extra time to rest this week.
We're losing our roommates and I'm so happy that D has agreed to pay 2/3 of the rent since he got promoted so we might not have to have roommates anymore! But this means we'll have to refund their May balance and security deposit so I don't think I can afford the f2f. pout.
ION I don't think I'm ever going to work up the courage to ask out the fedex driver. Maybe I can slip her a note... "check box A if you think I'm cute."
Speaking of pregnancy - anyone have experience with and/or know anyone who has anticardiolipin syndrome and made it through a pregnancy successfully? My co-worker was just diagnosed and is freaking out and I'd like to share some good stories with her.
But this means we'll have to refund their May balance and security deposit so I don't think I can afford the f2f. pout.
Well, technically, they informed you after the first of the month, so they're obligated for the month unless they find you an acceptable tenant, so you could keep the money. And go to the F2F. Not that I'm trying to figure out a way for you to get there.

I have a feeling J is going to apologize and ask to stay. I asked D what he'd say if that happened and he replied, "you called me a fucking idiot in my own home. I can't have you living here after that." So if that happens I think we will be obligated to refund their rent. I will let D know that's a possibility, though.
I feel like such a chump. I've realized that they're both actually quite selfish and thoughtless and that I've been cutting them slack because they're nice to look at. Still I have enjoyed living with them a lot more than the previous roommate and his whiny girlfriend who was over all the time. But I love the idea of just sharing a house, me and D. We already know we make good roommates and now we can have an office again.

Yeah, this is BS, laga. A roommate staying/going situation isn't really a landlord/tenant situation, but 30 days notice is not in any way unreasonable.
More importantly, if moving out April 29th and fucking you for May rent is uncool, moving out May 7th and asking for the balance of May rent to be refunded -- effectively retroactively fucking you for May rent is doubly uncool.
Giving them security deposit is one thing, but they have really no right to expect any part of May to be refunded to them.
And... these are the roommates who were always late paying for stuff, yes? You should pay them the money when you damned well feel like it.

Thanks. That blog looks interesting, but I can't seem to find a way to see the previous posts. None of the posts on that page actually make mention of Spina Bifida. Is there a way to see previous posts that I'm not finding?

wait, did they tell you that they were leaving or did D say that they had to leave?
