See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

And that's like the 20th thing that has gone annoyingly wrong today.

Ugh. I hate days like that.

I'm trying to figure out what I can do with about a cup of leftover brown rice. I'm sick of eating it as just rice. So far, I've found some bread recipes that use cooked rice, and I've realized I can mix it with some almond milk to make rice pudding. I'm missing several ingredients for either of those, though. Though right now, I'm don't really have enough energy to do anything, so might as well make it tomorrow.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ah. This is 40 square meters (c 130 square feet). Ha. Your old place sounds palatial!

Is the 40 square meters including the bathroom, kitchen, and the space where the front door opens?

(suddenly 600 sq ft apt doesn't feel so tiny)

Now I'm wondering how many square feet Jesse's old studio was, years ago, because I remember that as really darn small.

Am irked--had double-booked for dinner, accidentally...and now have NO plans because they both bailed! Argh.

Not that I'm actually hungry, or want to move from my couch, but I DO want some human interaction.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm building a 3 bedroom house, 2400 sq ft in size. Does that help?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yes indeed! But, really, one girl and one cat don't need an awful lot of space, you know? And it's all set out to make very good use of what space there is. And it's a lovely building, and there's a pool and a little gym and gorgeous views - I mean, it's the nicest place I've ever lived, you know? So I shouldn't be whining - I like it lots.

Nevertheless, I definitely understand the excitement of having MORE THAN ONE ROOM!!! Go Team You, with the exciting multiple room having!

some ways, ya... others, not so much.

Plus, I am a slob, so it's just as well that the space-for-making-mess is kept to a minimum, I guess...

That's my theory, but considering the amount of work I've had to do the past few weeks to get my apartment to vaguely presentable, it seems to have not worked so well.

I'm ordering a new mattress pad. 100% cotton. Unmeltable.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Having extra space does have it's downsides (3 dumpsters, umpteen trips to Goodwill, many packed boxes, lots of freecycled itemed, and there is still lots in the house). I'm really looking for something much more on the cozy-side when we move.

Fay, the apt. sounds loverly.

And don't forget the exotic foreign locale.
